The motherhood circle in Kew

Your Perinatal Support Group in Kew

This has been a much needed space for expecting mothers and mothers with small babies from birth to 12 months and it´s now here.

Motherhood can be confusing and lonely, and last year has been particularly difficult for mothers who have been distanced from their loved ones and their peers, and missed out on support services such as face to face classes and playgroups.

In this space you will feel supported and connect with other women who are going through similar experiences in their motherhood journey, over tea and cake. You can ask questions, share concerns, and get support. Judgement-free.

Joining the Motherhood Circle also includes access to a private facebook group so we can all stay in contact and take the shared experiences online, whilst also using it to share any information which might be useful.

What can I expect?

Each cohort will get together weekly, for a 4-week period. Each session will take around 50 minutes. Please bring a yoga mat or a blanket so you can sit down comfortably with your baby on the floor.

We start with a simple check-in to see how everyone is doing, and then we will let the conversation flow with whatever is in your thoughts and you want to discuss that week.

Dates and times

We meet on Mondays, from 10.45am to 11.35am.

The next available dates are:

13, 20, 27 September + 4 October.

Cost

The price for the 4-week cohort is £60. The places are limited to 10 people.

You will receive a confirmation email once the payment is done. You will be informed in case there are no places left.

Venue

The Pavilion cafe and clubhouse - North Sheen Recreation Ground

Dancer Road

North Sheen

Covid Guidance

The space is wide and airy, with plenty of room to keep 2 metres distance required by COVID-19 Safety Guidance. The use of face masks is not mandatory at the moment.

Older Children

This space is aimed at giving the mothers time and space for themselves to think about their motherhood journeys. For that reason it is not recommended that you bring older children to the circle. However if it is important for you to take part and know that your child will be alright in this environment we will discuss it individually and find a way of welcoming you and your babies :)
